At the NTUC Ordinary Delegates\u2019 Conference 2021 held on 17 Nov, Guest-of-Honour Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies Heng Swee Keat, highlighted how the Labour Movement has continued to adapt and innovate over the years to remain a constructive tripartite partner while constantly reinventing to remain relevant to our workers.<\/p>\n

To keep pace with constant change and disruption, DPM Heng outlined three key shifts for the Labour Movement to push strongly ahead to support workers and companies. These include working more directly with companies to transform their businesses and help their workers succeed; expanding offerings to serve more workers and address their lifelong needs holistically, as well as doing more to engage society at large to renew the compact for our workers. He also touched on the Labour Movement\u2019s efforts in helping workers during the current COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n

DPM Heng also joined NTUC’s President Mary Liew, NTUC Secretary-General Ng Chee Meng, and tripartite partners Minister for Manpower Dr Tan See Leng and Presiden tof Singapore National Employers Federation, Dr Robert Yap, to announce the launch of @ntuclearninghub\u2019s Learning eXperience Platform.<\/p>\n
