Facing a legal issue on a personal matter and have never sought legal advice before?
E-mail lawworks@ntuc.org.sg to make an appointment for FREE basic legal advice with volunteer lawyers. Pre-registration is required.
Eligibility Criteria*
- The applicant must be a union member.
- The member must not have previously consulted a lawyer on the same matter.
- Information sought must not be for business / investment related matters.
- Each consultation is limited to 20 minutes
- Employment Issues will only be accepted, if referred by NTUC-affiliated unions or TADM@NTUC.
- The member is not able to have a second appointment for the same matter.
- No drafting or vetting of documents and letters.
- The volunteer lawyer will not be able to act for or represent the member in any subsequent matters and/or legal matters.
- NTUC and/or Pro Bono SG reserve the rights to reject any of the cases in its/their sole discretion
*The criteria may be amended at the discretion of the organiser.
