There are two categories of membership. |

Ordinary members (OB): |
|
| |
You are eligible for collective bargaining benefits, grievance handling services and all other social benefits provided by AUPE and NTUC. |

|
|
| |
General Branch members (GB): |
|
| |
You are not eligible for collective bargaining benefits and grievance handling services but are entitled to all other social benefits provided by AUPE and NTUC. |

Who is eligible ? |

| If you are working in the civil service. |
If you are working in the civil service. |
You can join as an ordinary member if you are not an officer in the Special Category.
You may join as a General Branch member if you are an officer in the Special Category.
If your appointment changes, you may apply to convert from OB to GB and vice versa. |
You can join as an ordinary member if you are listed in the Collective Agreement.
You may join as a General Branch member if you are not listed in the Collective Agreement |
