  12 GENERAL      
   
  12.1
All disputes touching the business of the Society shall be referred to the Registrar in the manner provided in the Act.

  12.2
These By-laws are supplementary to the provisions of the Act and the Rules. The Society shall be governed by the Act, the Rules and the By-laws read together. Nothing in these By-laws shall have any power to limit the authority of the Registrar.

  12.3
The By-laws of the Society shall, when registered bind the Society and the members thereof to the same extent as if they were signed by each member and contained covenants on the part of each member for himself and his personal representative to observe all the provisions of the By-laws.

  12.4
No act of the Society or the Board or the Committee or any officer shall be deemed to be invalid by reason only of the existence of any defect in the constitution of the Society or of the Board or of the Committee or in the appointment or election of an officer or on the ground that such officer was disqualified for his appointment.

  12.5
The Registrar or his accredited representative shall have the right to be present and participate in discussion at all meetings of the Society.
